Are
my possessions safe and secure at Hold It Storage?
Our site is highly visible because we
are
located on a major highway.The
entire site is enclosed within a barbed wire security fence. Security
lighting
illuminates the property. Security cameras are mounted
throughout
the complex. You provide your own lock and only you determine
who can have the key to your possessions. We also provide
on
site management and a resident manager, for added security.
Entrance
to the facility is through a computer controlled security gate.
Access can be gained only by entering a passcode that is issued to those
who store here.

Do you give me a key?
You provide your own lock and key so that you are the only one with access to your unit. You may purchase a lock at the storage office.

Do
you require a security deposit or application fee?
No.
Your only expense is your monthly rental fee.

What kind of
documentation do I need to rent a unit?
A valid drivers license or an ID with picture such as: a military ID,
work
ID, passport, or greencard is required to rent a
unit.

What is the
minimum time that I can store for?
The minimum rental period is 1 month.

payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard.

What
payment options are available?
We
offer several easy pay options:

offer monthly autobill service. If you would like, we can
bill your credit card each month for the amount due. You never
have to remember to send a check or call with your card number.

How
do I get into my storage unit?
Our
security gate is computer controlled and operates 365
days
a year. Each storage unit has a unique access code
which
is entered into the keypad upon each entrance and
exit
to the facility. A log of gate traffic is maintained within
the
system.

What are your
hours of operation?
Office hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm Monday - Saturday.
We
offer gate site access 365 days a year. The
hours are seasonal:
Late
fall, winter, early spring - 7:00am to 9:00pm.
Late
spring, summer, early fall - 6:00am to 10:00pm

are you located?
We
are located on the site of the former Lorain
Drive In Theater,
around the corner from Community Health
Partners Hospital, and 500 feet east of Kolbe
Rd. We are across the street
from George's Hook & Gun and Lorain
Skate World.

How long will
it take to complete my transaction on move-in day?
The entire move-in process should take less than 20 minutes. Please keep in mind that this time could vary depending on whether there are
other customers ahead of you when you arrive.

Do I need
insurance?
You may carry your own insurance (check your homeowner's or renter's policy to see if you are already covered) or apply for insurance coverage
from a company that specializes in self-storage insurance. Insurance is the tenants responsibility. We do not offer insurance but below are two
companies
that provide self storage tenant insurance.

Do you sell
boxes?
We sell a variety of moving boxes at the storage office.
We

Do you
rent trucks?
Yes,
not only do we rent trucks but we rent appliance dollies,
furniture
dollies,

Will there be a problem with my property getting wet?
We
maintain a regular inspection schedule and perform regular maintenance
on our roofs. We
have catch basins and storm sewers that
drain to our own retention pond before eventually leading to Lake Erie.

Do you
have a problem with varmints?
We
have an aggressive program to eradicate insects and rodents from
the the storage areas. Regular treatments are administered to
our
facility. We encourage everyone to refrain from storing all food
products
and unclean appliances with food residue.
